{"id":219,"date":"2018-03-11T12:55:21","date_gmt":"2018-03-11T12:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/architects.vuild.co.jp\/?p=219"},"modified":"2020-05-26T05:53:38","modified_gmt":"2020-05-26T05:53:38","slug":"slush-partition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/architects.vuild.co.jp\/en\/2018\/03\/11\/slush-partition\/","title":{"rendered":"SLUSH PARTITION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A design that resembles a snow crystal shape, is a Japanese pattern called &#8220;asanoha&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time since the collaboration is a project between Finland (Sun Effects) and Japan (VUILD), I have created a proposal that has hybridized a snowflake&#8217;s form (Finland) with Japanese traditional pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Asanoha&#8221; pattern consists of parallelograms and hexagons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the partition design, I have adopted a structural form layering a parallelogram shaped patter panel with a hexagonal based truss. Each combination of the shapes, creates a perfect pattern of &#8220;Asanoha&#8221; in the front, however as you change perspectives the pattern changes according to your viewpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I designed this partition so,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each audience members seat will experience a different view.<br>Each attendee is offered their own geometry\/pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A design that resembles a snow crystal shape, is a Japanese pattern called &#8220;asanoha&#8221;.
