This project is to renovate two private houses to connect offices of KAYAC Inc. which dot around Kamakura Station.

A house was dismantled to widen a courtyard. At the yard, two pergolas with cocoon imitated ceiling were installed and proposed an open to town garden office. Pergolas were constructed by using the suspension arch method with 36mm CLT cedars aiming light structure design.
